Stocks With Low Price-to-Earnings Ratio
A low P/E ratio will allow a person to purchase a stock at a low price. The PE may be low because the company may have had issues during the past year. It is wise to research a company and the history of its stock performance before making a purchase. Value investors often search for stocks with relatively low P/E ratios as a means for identifying cheaper stocks that the market has largely passed over.
